U.S. Olympic Network - Canoe/Kayak

Barton Bantams 200km Club
This new National Sprint Development Program initiative is for any male or female athlete under 14 years of age who is a member of a USACK affiliated club. To be eligible for this recognition, the athlete must carry out the following under the guidance of a club coach or volunteer during club training sessions.

  • Bantams are to tally their fall paddling kilometers starting Sept. 1 and ending Oct.31.
  • Athletes that accumulate 200 km will receive an award from USACK.
  • Charts were issued at the Nationals to all clubs to track the athlete km count.

Congratulations to all coaches, parents and club volunteers for assisting these young athletes in achieving this remarkable feat — thirty five athletes in total.
