Jr National Team Trials
The 1st Annual New England Whitewater Triple-Crown Championships will take place April 18-19, 2009 on the Tariffville Gorge of the Farmington River. The New England Whitewater Triple-Crown Championships will bring world-class canoe and kayak competition back to Connecticut.
2009 USA Canoe/Kayak Team Trials for Flatwater Sprint will determine the Senior and Junior World Championships to represent the USA. This year the event will take place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula, Vista, CA on April 24-26, 2009.

The 2008 Triangle Paddlefest is a kayak and canoe race on Lake Crabtree between Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina.
This race and recreational paddle are dedicated to the memory of Patrick Sawyer. The net proceeds will be contributed to the Sawyer Family Fund.
The U.S. Whitewater Slalom National Championships on August 30, 2008 is an open competition that will draw the best slalom racers in the country, including the entire U.S. Whitewater Slalom Team. The race is a one-day event that involves two race runs for each competitor, the results of which will determine the 2008 National Champions in four different categories.
The U.S. Junior Team Trials will determine the athletes to represent the USA in the 2008 Moscow Junior World Championship Test Regatta on September 2-5, 2008.
The final stage of the World Cup Series for 2008 will be held in Augsburg, Germany. Beginning July 4-6, the U.S. National Whitewater Slalom Team will be competing for their final opportunity to qualify for Beijing.
Tacen, Slovenia is the site for the second part of the 2008 Whitewater Slalom World Cup Series.
