USADA is the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the independent,
non-governmental anti-doping agency for Olympic sports in the United
States. USADA is dedicated to preserving the well-being of Olympic
sport, the integrity of competition and ensuring the health of
athletes. USADA began drug testing of athletes on October 2, 2000 and
is responsible for managing the testing and adjudication process of the
athletes in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. USADA is equally
dedicated to preserving the integrity of sport through research
initiatives and educational programs.
