2008 Olympic Team Trials
Dear Officials,
This coming year we will be hosting a very exciting event. Please mark your calendars for April 25th – 27th in Charlotte, NC. The kayak racing at this event comprise at least the US Olympic Team Trials, the Canadian Olympic Team Trials, the Pan American Championships (Continental Cup), and an Olympic Qualifier. We are recruiting officials for these race days. Requirements in order to be considered for a judging supervisor position:
- Be a current ICF official (see attached rules for refresher).
- You must arrive on or before April 23rd.
- You must be present at the race course on the morning of April 24th ready to work.
- You should expect to leave late on April 27th or later.
What should you do now? By December 21st:
1. Send a note indicating your interest and availability for these races (bfike@ball.com and whitewater@frontier.net)
2. Include your sizes for clothing (shirts, polo shirt, pants, and t-shirt) – who knows what will be available?
3. Include all of the information we would need to contact you in January
4. Indicate your arrival and departure plans, if you don’t know, tell us when you will know.
Have I missed anyone? I may not have an e-mail address for each of the US ICF Officials, please forward this note to any of the officials that I may have missed. Thanks and I hope to see many of you in Charlotte…
